From enjoyable, relaxed music lessons to structured AMEB grade preparation and exam enrollment, every lesson is customized to the individual while always keeping the learning experience fun.

25+ years playing, two music degrees, touring musician and award-winning guitarist.
Sharing My Passion
As a teen, I was lucky enough to have a music theory tutor paid to visit my home after school and give me private one-on-one tutoring. I couldn't believe how much easier it was for me to learn in the comfort of my own home, free from the stresses of the outside world. From that moment, I believed that this kind of convenience should be available to others in the form of my guitar lessons.
I have 20+ years teaching, including school programs, A.M.E.B (Australian Music Examination Board) success, and real-world music experience. I love helping people succeed.
My Classes
I bring lessons to your home for comfort and focus, teaching guitar to all ages and skill levels.
I have everything we need for you to start, including a Working With Children Check (WWCC) and relevant background checks, I even have spare guitars if you don't yet have your own. Just ask me and we'll make it work for you.
If you are time-poor, don't have a local guitar teacher, or you just prefer to learn at home in your pyjamas, then DoorStep Guitar Tuition is the game changer you need.

Lesson Prices
In-House Visits
Prices are not inclusive of a call-out fee and additional charge for distance traveled by the teacher, subject for each client.
Guitar
$50 per 30-mins.
The main-stay of DoorStep Guitar Tuition. All skill levels and ages, with electric, acoustic, classical and bass guitar lessons available.
Beginner's follow our unique 10-week curriculum, guaranteeing success.
Piano / Piano Accordion
$50 per 30-mins.
Beginner to intermediate piano and piano-accordion lessons. Grades and exam coaching available for piano. Students must have their own piano or keyboard available on the premises for each lesson.
Drums
$50 per 30-mins.
Drum lessons for beginners only. Students must have their own acoustic or electric drum kit available on the premises for each lesson.
Online Lessons
Online prices do not attract a call out fee or a travel charge.
Guitar
$50 per 30-mins.
Online guitar lessons taught via webcam. Perfect for anyone with a doorstep that's too far away for us to drive to. All skill levels and ages, with electric, acoustic, classical and bass guitar lessons available.
Beginner's follow our unique 10-week curriculum, guaranteeing success.
Please note student's must have a basic webcam, microphone and reliable internet connection.
